If you’re curious how a MMORPG’s typically complex controls can be streamlined down into a single gamepad, don’t fret, as we’re talking about a franchise whose heart and soul remains forever with its console beginnings. If anything, it was that controller’s exquisite molding and comfortable feel that helped convince Square-Enix to work with them here, as practically everything – minus the wireless – from that design is reproduced here in all its functional glory.
